Navigation: You will
already be familiar with the navigation system used on the website
and be pleased to see that we have used a similar logic for the
e-book. For offline map viewing the navigation panel at the top of
each map page gives you the choice of using either the area
description buttons links, or the 360º control panel at the right,
that with a click pulls up the adjoining map for you. And, you
will notice that the zoom facility is still on the page, that allows
you to access the enlarged maps of the Central Business District and
also the Southern Industrial Area. It's all there for you at the
touch of a button.
The map sections have an
index grid marked by thin blue lines. The grids are identified by the use of
numbers running horizontally left to right and the use of letters
running vertically top to bottom. With the use of the quickly
accessible street index pages you can locate the particular
street you are looking for. (Example: Lewis St is located in
grid " 13Q "). It's never been so quick and easy to locate a
Windhoek street. And this is the only map publication to date having
a cross reference list of the Windhoek streets that have been
renamed, or are planned for renaming.
Print Size A4: I have my personal
set laminated back to back. This way they are dirt proof, water
proof and sweaty hands proof. The map sections are conveniently
sized and easy to handle. I don't have to mess around with crumpled
maps or go searching through guide book pages.

Customer Satisfaction: For those viewers who
have been visiting the Map of Namibia website, for the past 3 years
or so, will have noticed ongoing improvements. Many of you have
asked as to how you could purchase the maps and I will use this
platform to both apologise and ask for your understanding for my not
having responded to your email requests. We knew what standard we
wanted to achieve before offering the product for sale, and it took
time and patience to develop the digital mapping process. The
technique of conveying the information into e-book format also
required much consideration. Having 'said' that we will continue to
improve our craft, and your comments and suggestions are always
welcome. It is only by understanding your (the market's) wants and
needs that we can be of good service. We are sure that you will be
another satisfied customer. However, should you not be happy with
the product you have purchased you are welcome to email us and we
