Can't download our pages? Sorry for any confusion it may have
caused. The reason is that the Map pages are encrypted. We've spent
a lot of time developing our digital maps and those amongst you who have
been visiting the Map of Namibia website for the past 3 years will have
seen ongoing developments and improvements to both the quality of the
Maps and layout of the pages and the website. Many of you have emailed
us asking as to why you couldn't download and print from our pages, and
even more have emailed us asking if, and as to how they could purchase
copies of the maps.
Quality and Accuracy of the Maps and Information.
Our maps are produced in Namibia at our own offices, so we have the advantage of being
able to discuss in meetings with the various authorities the latest
developments and future plans for upgrades to the Namibia road system
and town street plans. You would be surprised as to how many tourists in
Namibia I meet that complain to me about time wasted owing to them having
purchased maps
that contain inaccurate information for the particular area or street
that they were searching for. The main problem with printed media maps is that
they can quickly become outdated. Whereas our digital maps are updated when
needed.
A Note For Tour Guide and Publishers
If you are producing wall chart maps or section / street maps for
insertion into tour guide books, you are welcome to contact us for the
